MARIS employs staff and experience built up over 30 years, consisting of offshore and subsea engineering in all project phases from concept to commissioning. MARIS has enjoyed contracts involving the majority of the North Sea subsea production developments and a considerable amount of engineering effort is devoted to R & D in Oil & Gas drilling and production technology.

The MARIS contribution to the offshore Oil and Gas Industry now amounts to well over $20 million of project management & consultancy on successfully completed contracts.

As a result, MARIS has direct access to most of the key consultants in Offshore Oil & Gas Projects and is able to provide Project Management & Consultancy services to operators on all aspects of their project developments. 

ENGINEERING SPECIALISTS The latest know-how and expertise in drilling, offshore & subsea technology is not well documented and is only readily available from those engineering specialists who have recently held responsible positions on several important projects in succession.

MARIS are able to provide experienced personnel for such projects at all levels from Project Manager downwards and in all oil & gas specialisations. Additionally the Company has planners, supervisors, inspectors and most other associated disciplines.

The MARIS database contains 450 specialists and, at any one time, some 50 of these can be made available for new projects. This experience in coastal & offshore oil and gas project engineering encompasses R & D, design, fabrication, testing, QA, inspection, construction, installation, commissioning and total project management.

The key specialisations include:- Subsea Technology production systems, transport systems, remote intervention, ROVs and AUVs, seabed resources, deep sea development Offshore flowlines, bundles, risers, flexibles, umbilicals, connectors. Drilling rig design, tubular handling, completions, wellheads, downhole, BOPs, hardware. Oil & gas processing, quality, testing, contamination, recovery, interception. Tanker terminals, storage, pumping, treating, blending, loading. Pier and Berth design, berth occupancy, products grouping, manifolding, metering, flushing, pigging, additives, ESD, regulatory & standard practice, FMEA & Hazops, tanker bunkering, ballasting, mooring, fire safety & security. Associated disciplines, such as survey, geology, environmental etc. as well as Q.A.,Q.C., planning, expediting, inspection and procurement.
